Here is a typical reaction to the peer-review process around 1945. I reckon it hasn’t changed all that much. (Not for the faint at heart.)

That clip has a life of its own, doesn’t it? Does Bruno Ganz get royalties from all the adaptations? I admit not knowing who he was before seeing the first adaptation, but have since become a fan. Perhaps that’s reward enough for him?

What’s funny is all that I’ve seen have been rather funny. (Or at least I’ve found them funny, which I know may not be the same thing . . .)

I am trying to track down a copy of this having enjoyed it so much last year, but it seems to have disappeared from the face of the internet. Has anyone saved a copy?
