My colleagues Todd Chiles, Allen Bluedorn, and Vishal Gupta have posted an updated version of their forthcoming Organization Studies paper, "Beyond Creative Destruction and Entrepreneurial Discovery: A Radical Austrian Approach to Entrepreneurship." The paper introduces entrepreneurship scholars to the idiosyncratic Austrian economist Ludwig Lachmann, presenting Lachmann's approach as an alternative to those of Schumpeter and Kirzner.

JC Spender has influenced me on getting into the Austrian economists – uncertainty, radical subjectivism, creative imagination and so on – I’ve never had much time for the dominant obsession with so-called equilibrium – on a quick scan here I see much that I like and certainly intend to explore this avenue further.
Thanks to Todd Allen and Vishal for making this available.

And that’s an appropriate reward to those that brought us Ulysses and Guiness, though not necessarily in that order. There’s real depth and value in all these multifarious acts of human agency.
