As a criminologist and a libertarian, I was most interested in “The Business Ethics of Incarceration: The Moral Implications of Treating Prisons Like Businesses” by Daniel D’Amico & Joseph Butt.
While I advocate for a complete free market, I bellieve that prisoners are the moral responsibility of the state which created their crimninality. I concur completely that alternatives to incarceration exist and are efficacious.
Beyond that, I only say “thanks” for the link these essays and I highly recommend “The Business Ethics of Incarceration.”
