Confirmation bias, it appears, affects not only our scientific and political beliefs, but our aesthetic preferences as well. Now I understand why certain people read orgtheory.net!

It would be interesting to seek out statistically large numbers of people who pursue what contradicts their beliefs.
Confirmation bias is a confirmation bias itself.
Seeking truth may, indeed, be an aesthetic response, and not a matter of rules.
